The new service called Expat Shield enables users to create VPN connection to servers located in the United Kingdom. Also, the service provides online anonymity and offers protection from packet sniffers by encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Expat Shield is available for Windows XP/Vista/7. The program installs a VPN client using which users can quickly connect and disconnect from the VPN server. The program is also compatible with the 64-bit Windows editions. As you probably know from Hotspot Shield, Expat Shield is free, but it is supported with advertisement banners which sticks to the top of the browser page. Important! Make sure you unselect Toolbar installation option, which is not needed for the Free VPN to work. Since it comes free, you would need to bear the ads which sticks on top of your browser.
