How to hide ip: Ultrasurf 9.92 – New Release, No Major Changes |
Ultrasurf 9.92 – New Release, No Major Changes Posted: 08 Jan 2010 02:50 AM PST UltraSurf is a free software which enables users inside countries with heavy Internet censorship to visit any public web sites in the world safely and freely. Users in countries without internet censorship also use it to protect their internet privacy and security. Ultrareach, the creator of Ultrasurf, has just released a version 9.92 of their free tool. The new release does not bring major changes: the same user interface, the same functionality, the same pros and cons as the previous versions (Pros and Cons of Ultrasurf 9.2). I just finished testing Ultrasurf 9.92 and the only thing that I noticed to be changed are the IPs of the servers. I have performed some speed tests and the results are not very good:
Further, I hoped that Ultrasurf 9.92 could be used to unblock Hulu. Unfortunately the result was conclusive: The good news is that it seems to work well on other sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Conclusion: The new Ultrasurf is just a regular update. The new servers are quite slow, but still Ultrasurf can be used to access restricted websites (unfortunately, not Hulu).
